Somewhere In the Night
~ The Man of LaMancha Medley ~
Fates Wide Wheel
Somewhere In the Night
On
the day I walked away
All the blue rolled into gray
Now in the dark alone I lay
Should have stopped but I could never ever stay
Somewhere in the night
Inside my dreams you burn so bright
And I'm with you there and everything's all right
Somewhere in the night
Before the darkness turns to light
Let me love you there somewhere in the night
Second chances I won't get
Wouldn't dare to hope but yet
Everywhere I turn I see your silhouette
Been so long but I never will forget
Somewhere in the night
Inside my dreams you burn so bright
And I'm with you there and everything's all right
Somewhere in the night
Before the darkness turns to light
Let me love you there somewhere in the night
Bridge:
Time after time I find that I'm thinking about you
Up
on a hill I see you still but I just can't reach
Who would answer your prayer
Who would wait by the stair
Not me
Not
Somewhere in the night
Inside my dreams you burn so bright
And I'm with you there and everything's all right
Somewhere in the night
Before the darkness turns to light
Let me see your face
Feel your warm embrace
Let me love you
Somewhere in the night

Man of LaMancha Medley
Man of LaMancha (I, Don Quixote)
Hear me now
Oh thou bleak and unbearable world,
Thou art base and debauched as can be;
And a knight with his banners all bravely unfurled
Now hurls down his gauntlet to thee!
I am I, Don Quixote,
The Lord of La Mancha,
My destiny calls and I go,
And the wild winds of fortune
Will carry me onward,
Oh whithersoever they blow.
Hear me, heathens and wizards
And serpents of sin!
All your dastardly doings are past,
For a holy endeavor is now to begin
And virtue shall triumph at last!
I am I, Don Quixote,
The Lord of La Mancha,
My destiny calls and I go,
And the wild winds of fortune
Will carry me onward,
Oh whithersoever they blow.
Whithersoever they blow,
Onward to glory
Onward to glory
Onward to glory I go!
Dulcinea
I have dreamed thee too long,
Never seen thee or touched thee.
But known thee with all of my heart.
Half a prayer, half a song,
Thou hast always been with me,
Though we have been always apart.
Dulcinea
Dulcinea
I see heaven when I see thee
Dulcinea,
And thy name is like a prayer
An angel whispers
Dulcinea
Dulcinea
Dulcinea
I
have sought thee, sung thee,
Dreamed thee, Dulcinea!
Now I've found thee,
And the world shall know thy glory,

The Impossible Dream (The Quest)
To
dream the impossible dream.
To fight the unbeatable foe.
To bear with unbearable sorrow.
To run where the brave dare not go.
To right the unrightable wrong.
To love, pure and chaste, from afar.
To try, when your arms are too weary.
To reach the unreachable star.
This is my Quest to follow that star,
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far.
To fight for the right
Without question or pause.
To be willing to march into hell
For a heavenly cause!
And I know, if I'll only be true
To this glorious Quest,
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest.
And the world will be better for this,
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove, with his last ounce of courage,
To reach the unreachable stars!

Fate's Wide Wheel
(Mystic Traveler)
As I travel in space and time
I want to stay, I want to go
You see my face, but it's not mine
What you can't see, you'll never know.
How can we meet if I'm not there?
Our hearts may touch, our bodies close
But time divides what we might share,
And sends us all where no one goes.
I'm just a traveler, upon the sea
Of time, of life, of fate's wide wheel.
Just a traveler, in this mystery
The me I am is all that's real to me.
We all begin this life alone
We live, we love all through the years
Yet deep inside we long for home
But every sea’s obscured by tears
I cry the time it falls past me
The door of fate remains asleep
But in my soul this hope burns free
Oh, please let there be one final leap
I'm just a traveler, upon the sea
Of time, of life, of fate's wide wheel.
Just a traveler, in this mystery
The me I am is all that's real to me.
